Mrs Jacqueline trained at the medical school at Trinity College, Dublin. Having graduated in 1986, she embarked on surgical training, attaining FRCS(Glasg) in General Surgery in 1992, FRCS(Plast) in Plastic Surgery in 1999 and was entered onto the Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery in 2001. She underwent training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery at Institut Curie (Paris), Gent University Hospital (Belgium) and The Royal Marsden Hospital (London) and aesthetic training in Paris under Gilbert Aiach and Daniel Marchac.
She is in a unique position being fully trained in the UK in both Plastic Surgery and Breast Surgery. She is considerate and caring, counselling her patients towards realistic expectations. Her careful, professional and honest appraisal is valuable, giving her opinion on all available options for each condition. Her aim is to achieve the most optimal result for each individual.
She has numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and is the author of the book The Royal Society of Medicine- Your Guide to Breast Cancer. She has been invited to appear on national television news for her opinion and is regularly featured in national magazines.
