Does make-up make acne worse?
As you’re probably already aware, some make-up may clog up your pores and aggravate acne. We recommend mineral make-up because it’s designed to let your skin breathe while covering redness and inflammation.
When should I see a specialist?
If you are experiencing severe breakouts or scarring that is impacting how you feel about your appearance, then it might be advisable to see a specialist. Most forms of acne are now treatable, so please don’t suffer in silence. If we feel you would benefit from specialist medical advice, we will always be honest about this during your consultation.
Will my skin get worse after an acne treatment?
Depending on the treatment you choose, you may find that your skin flares up slightly following the procedure. This is a normal reaction as the skin begins to cleanse and heal itself.
