What is the Hydrating Facial?
Life can take its toll on your skin, leaving it dry, dull and distressed. Dehydration – a lack of sufficient and consistent moisture – is often at the heart of this problem.
This facial is all about helping your skin to retain moisture so that it looks and feels plump, soothed and healthy.
To really enhance the results given by the active ingredients in our chosen skincare products, this hydrating facial treatment includes:
Superficial micro-needling with a mixture of hydrating and plumping serums.
A soothing and hydrating mask.
Clinically proven skin-nourishing finishing serums.
Micro-current Lymphatic Drainage to improve circulation, detox and plump the skin.
LED Light Therapy.
Your skin will look visibly hydrated after just one treatment and you should continue to see positive changes over several weeks. Many people find this is an ideal monthly facial treatment to help their skin stay fresh and hydrated.

Step 1: Consultation
You’ll have an initial consultation and skin assessment with one of our experienced aestheticians. Analysing your skin and understanding as much as we can about your skincare concerns will help us to tailor the hydrating facial to your individual needs.
We’ll explain each stage of your treatment in advance so you know what the facial entails and why we use each product and approach. Feel free to ask questions!
Step 2: During your treatment
The Hydrating Facial has six stages. Lie back and relax as we gently cleanse your skin then carry out a detailed skin analysis.
We will then use a handheld micro-needling device to make superficial microscopic puncture wounds to a depth of 0.25mm in your skin. At this point, we’ll apply a mixture of hydrating and plumping serums that will travel into the top layers of your skin via these tiny wounds. This will help to replenish your skin’s reserves of hyaluronic acid and also stimulate fresh collagen and elastin production.
Next, we will apply a soothing and hydrating mask that feels beautifully refreshing and will help to close the micro-needling channels in your skin.
With your skin feeling newly nourished and hydrated, we will give you a detoxifying and plumping facial massage designed to work in harmony with your body’s lymphatic and circulatory systems.
With your massage complete, we use LED light therapy because it is proven to have an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory healing effect on the skin and will enhance your skin’s recovery and new balance.
Finally, we will apply specially chosen hydrating finishing serums to leave your skin looking radiant as you head back on with your day.
Step 3: After the treatment
Once we have applied the finishing serums, you’re free to carry on with your day with healthy, hydrated skin.
Some people experience some mild redness immediately post-treatment, although the LED Therapy helps to minimise this. It usually passes within an hour or two.
Your skin will look refreshed immediately but you should notice ongoing improvements.
How do I know if the Hydrating Facial is the right treatment for me?
Our Hydrating Facial is perfect if you feel like your skin is dry and in need of some tender, loving care. Skin can often look ‘crepey’ in texture as well as dull when it’s dehydrated. If you would love to look more refreshed and rested, this is a great treatment choice.
The purpose of the skin analysis during your consultation is to identify the best treatment for your skincare concerns. You might come in with the Hydrating Facial in mind but if we think there would be a better option for you, we’ll always give you a choice and explain why.
Can I wear make-up after my facial?
We recommend keeping your skin clear for 24 hours following your facial. If you do need to use make-up, opt for a mineral product that will not clog your pores.
How often should I have this facial?
Generally, we recommend having this facial every two to four weeks. We’ll always look at the condition of your skin first – as well as the concerns you want to treat and your budget – before giving you an individual recommendation at your consultation.
