Using PRP treatment is well known to rejuvenate the skin while adding volume and enhancing skin tone and texture. Also known as the Vampire Facial, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a highly acclaimed treatment which uses the body’s own resources to repair and rebuild skin cells.
PRP is produced by processing a small sample of your blood (taken from your arm) through a centrifuge machine, which separates the blood into two layers. The red blood cells move to the bottom, while the plasma, which is full of protein and growth factors, rises to the top. This plasma can then be carefully injected into damaged tissues to accelerate healing along with increasing collagen production and connective tissue formation, leading to skin tightening and overall rejuvenation.
At Aesthetics Lab, we use the latest technology centrifuge machine, the Cellenis PRP, as it achieves the highest platelet concentration yield, between 90-95%. This, in turn, helps achieve faster new blood vessel formation, which leads to a natural and glowing complexion. It also enhances skin texture, colour and tone with minimal to no downtime.
Our exclusive PRP treatment in London has been created by our resident Doctor, Liesel Holler, and this PRP Intensive Collagen Induction Therapy protocol enhances the results of traditional PRP. Amalgamating this popular treatment with medical-grade microneedling, synergistic collagen-boosting effects are achieved. When PRP is massaged into the skin following microneedling, it is better absorbed through the micro-channels, reaching deeper and more evenly into the skin for optimal rejuvenation.
Patients can expect excellent results very quickly, seeing a reduction in unwanted concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles and scars, in addition to improved skin elasticity and overall skin condition. The treatment is completed with a moisturising hyaluronic mask and LED Light Therapy to enhance the final results further. While individual results may vary, this is a truly indulgent and powerful combination treatment for the best possible results.

Your health and wellbeing come first at Aesthetics Lab. During your initial PRP Intensive Collagen Induction Therapy consultation with Dr Liesel Holler, we will talk through your medical history to be sure there are no contraindications. Dr Holler will then fully assess your skin and your skincare routine, as to suitably tailor your treatment. This is a great time to ask us any questions. We always answer openly, with honesty.
Once you are at ease in one of our tranquil treatment rooms, Dr Holler will take a sample of your blood. This will be processed in a specialised machine to obtain Platelet Rich Plasma. The procedure begins with micro-needling, which creates hundreds of micro channels in the skin. PRP is then massaged into this treatment area. During the final stage of the procedure, a hyaluronic mask will be applied, as you relax under the healing LED lights.
Following PRP Intensive Collagen Induction procedures, it is normal to experience some redness and tenderness to the treated area. This mild after effect will reduce within an hour. As soon as your appointment ends, you can go about your day as normal. Always follow aftercare advice, as provided by Aesthetics Lab.
