Step 1: Consultation
Aesthetics Lab always put your health and well being first. At your initial IPL thread vein consultation, we will talk through your medical history to be sure of any possible contraindications. This appointment provides a great opportunity to ask as many questions as you want. We’ll always answer openly and honestly.
Step 2: During your treatment
Your Aesthetician will cover the whole area of concern that has been highlighted with a broad spectrum light. The light is pulsed onto the skin causing the vein walls to break down. Throughout the treatment a system called Sapphire Spot will be used, to help keep your skin surface cool, making the procedure very comfortable.
Step 3: After the treatment
Generally, the downtime after the IPL thread vein procedures is very little. You may notice slight redness that should subside within half an hour. Most clients recover almost immediately following the procedure. It is essential to follow your aesthetician’s recommendations to help maintain the results achieved.
How many treatments will I need?
To benefit from optimum results, we often advise a course of four sessions. Further appointments may also be required to maintain the achieved results.
